Ms Vivienne Chiu is a veteran Corporate Communications and Brand Marketing leader who started off her career as a financial journalist and TV news presenter. She has held various leadership roles in renowned multinational and blue-chip companies spanning FinTech, finance, utility and FMCG industries, such as HKEX, Octopus Holdings, Royal Philips Electronics, CLP, etc., focusing on Greater China, Asia Pacific and global markets.

She has been a trusted adviser to the Board and CEO on corporate strategy formulation and implementation, with core expertise featuring omni marketing and communications, branding and advertising, digital communications, public affairs, media and government relations, crisis management, stakeholder engagement, customer relationship management, CSR and corporate sustainability.

Ms Chiu is an experienced media communications trainer and a frequent speaker for a variety of marketing and PR conferences. She has been teaching postgraduate courses at universities since 2013.

In addition to her corporate capacity, Ms Chiu actively serves the community. She is the Senior Adviser for Asia Pacific Customer Service Consortium, a committee member of the Electronic Flag-selling Advisory Board of Hong Kong Council of Social Service, judging panel for the ICT Awards and the judging panel for the Hong Kong Fashion Design Awards.

Ms Chiu holds an MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Communication from the Hong Kong Baptist University. She is the Winner (Prose section) of the Hong Kong Youth Literary Award. Her published works including novels, feature articles as well as columns.
