Dr Wojewodzki has joined The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong in 2019. He published empirical papers on credit ratings and capital structure of banks and non-financial firms in high-quality academic journals: European Journal of Finance and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money. For the last two decades, Michal has been coaching, mentoring, tutoring and lecturing in various capacities (personal trainer, private tutor, English language teacher and university lecturer). Since 2013, he has been a university lecturer working in various cultural environments: London, Cardiff, Glasgow, China and now Hong Kong. During that time, he has taught 25 modules in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Statistics and Econometrics. Michal is a keen practitioner of blended learning in his classroom where he puts into action various online tools and eclectic teaching techniques to boost his students learning experience and capacity. Michal’s teaching interests include Financial Management, Corporate Finance, International Finance, Financial Institutions and Markets, and Money and Banking. Outside of professional interests, Michal discovered bodybuilding in 1996 and have been working out ever since. When not at work or gym, he enjoys hiking, cycling and planning for the next adventure with his wife and kids.
